ONLINE PRE-K SCREENER PROCESS

STEP 1:

Collect the required documents.

STEP 2:

Complete and submit the online Pre-K Screener starting Monday, June 26, 2023.

STEP 3:

Campus staff will review the submitted Pre-K Screener and determine eligibility starting Monday, July 17, 2023.

STEP 4:

Campus staff will notify parent/guardian of their child's eligibility status starting Wednesday, July 19, 2023.

DOCUMENTS NEEDED FOR PRE-SCREENER

Current Proof of Residence (light bill, water bill or rental/lease agreement) must be under the parent's/guardian's name; if not, an Affidavit of Residence is required.
SNAP/TANF/Medicaid Letter or Proof of Income (One month of pay stubs for all working household members)

To be eligible for Pre-K, a child must be four years of age on or before September 1st and meet at least one of the state eligibility requirements:

Educationally Disadvantaged
Language other than English
Homeless
Military *

Star of Texas Award *

PROCESO DE SOLICITUD EN LÍNEA PARA PRE-KINDER

PASO 1:

Reúna los documentos requeridos.

PASO 2:

Complete y envíe la solicitud de Pre-Kinder en línea a partir del lunes 26 de junio del 2023.

PASO 3:

El personal del plantel revisará la solicitud de Pre-Kinder recibida y determinará si el estudiante califica a partir del lunes 17 de julio del 2023.

PASO 4:

El personal del plantel notificará a los padres/tutores si el estudiante califica a partir del miércoles 19 de julio del 2023.

DOCUMENTOS REQUERIDOS PARA LA PRE-CALIFICACIÓN A PRE-KINDER

El comprobante de residencia (factura de luz, factura de agua o contrato de alquiler/arrendamiento) actual debe estar a nombre del padre/madre/tutor; de lo contrario, se requiere una Declaración de Residencia Notariada.
Documentación de SNAP/TANF/Medicaid o Comprobante de ingresos (un mes de recibos de pago para todos los miembros del hogar que trabajan)
